BLACK MOUNTAIN - Georgia-based gas station chain Enmark Stations, Inc. says it is selling 20 stations and convenience stores, including one in Black Mountain and another in Hendersonville.

The Black Mountain store is located at 3048 U.S. 70 and the Hendersonville store up for sale is at 845 Spartanburg Highway.
Enmark's other Hendersonville store, located between downtown and Mountain Home at 3300 Asheville Highway, is not part of the deal, said a spokeswoman for Chicago-based NRC Realty & Capital Advisors. NRC is selling the stores for Enmark in a sealed bid process.
"For the most part, these are sites well outside our core marketing area," said Jim Mercer, Enmark's vice president and general manager. "We believe they will make excellent stores for the right buyer."
The local stores to be sold are just a few miles from other stores in the chain, which has 10 stores in Buncombe and nearby counties. Enmark, based in Savannah, Ga., says it has more than 70 stores. Some are only gas pumps and a kiosk and others have full-fledged convenience stores.
