7-Eleven Selling 12 Central Texas Sites
Source: Austin Business Journal
By Sarah Drake, Contributing EditorDallas-based 7-Eleven Inc. is selling 139 convenience stores in Texas, Florida, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Utah and Wisconsin — 12 of those are in the Austin area.
The company bought more than 1,000 sites from various operators over the past three years, explains Robbie Radant, vice president of mergers and acquisitions for 7-Eleven. However, the locations being put up for sale are not strategic to the company's overall operations.
"There are some terrific properties in this package that simply don't fit 7-Eleven's business model," said Radant, adding that the stores "should provide great opportunities for the right buyers."
The majority of the stores - 83 sites - are in Texas, and 12 of those sites are in Central Texas.
The following stores are in Austin:
• 2819 Guadalupe St.
• 5801 N. I-35
• 1919 S. Pleasant Valley Road
• 3404 Lockhart Highway
• 6903 Brodie Lane
• 12801 N. FM 620
• 13466 N. U.S. Highway 183
• 13775 Research Blvd.
• 2909 W. Anderson Lane
• 1015 Leander Road in Georgetown
• 1703 FM 1431 in Marble Falls
